Our Background
Our practice was founded in 1935 in Glendale, California to provide clinical laboratory services to the local community. Over the next 76 years, our practice expanded to provide hospital based pathology services throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. In response to the growing trend toward the use of large corporate and remote pathology laboratories, we founded Los Angeles Ventura Affiliated Pathology Services (LAVA) in April 2011 to extend our heritage of providing high quality outpatient pathology services at the local level.
